Raquel S. Allen is a passionate leader with a multifaceted career spanning healthcare, administrative law, entrepreneurship, and real estate. With a strong educational foundation and a commitment to serving both her community and her family, she brings a unique blend of skills and expertise to her diverse portfolio of ventures.

Education and Healthcare Background
As a graduate of the University of Nebraska at Omaha, Raquel earned her Bachelor of Arts in Multidisciplinary Studies in 2019. She has also held a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license since 2004, a Phlebotomy license acquired in 2006, and a State of Nebraska Pharmacy Technician certification obtained in 2013. In 2024, Raquel also became a Notary Public and National Notary Association and Loan Signing System Loan Signing Agent. This impressive educational background laid the foundation for her successful career journey.

Raquel's commitment to her family is evident in her career path. After moving from her home state of Illinois to Nebraska, in 2010 with her late mother and two children, she embarked on a fulfilling journey of caregiving. She began her career at the Department of Veterans Affairs as a Patient Care Tech and later transitioned to the Office of Benefits and Eligibility, where she worked as a Beneficiary Travel Clerk/Medical Support Assistant and received certification as a Health Benefits Advisor. Raquel's dedication and passion for her work led to her roles at the Social Security Administration Office of Hearing Operations, initially as a Case Technician and later as a Senior Legal Assistant.

A Dedicated Caregiver
In 2012, Raquel donated a kidney to her mother, Brenda Fay Allen, in Omaha, Nebraska. Her mother was previously on hemodialysis for 15 years before the transplant. Mrs. Brenda had not urinated in three years before the procedure but at the connection of her new kidney, she was able to urinate again! The kidney gave her 8.5 years of life before Mrs. Brenda passed away in May 2021. In 2018, Raquel made the income-changing decision to resign from her position at the U.S. Social Security Administration to become a full-time caregiver to Mrs. Brenda.
Fay Springs Senior Living Community will be a tribute to her beloved mother's memory.
Entrepreneurship and Real Estate Ventures
Following her mother's passing, Raquel embarked on a new life journey. In May 2023 her entrepreneurial spirit led her to the world of real estate when she attended a Property Challenge Mastermind class with the phenomenal and inspiring developer, Terrica Lynn Smith of LaFayette, Louisiana. This mastermind class further ignited Raquel's passion for real estate when she was miraculously sponsored by David Shands of the Social Proof Podcast, into a 12-month Inner Circle mastermind cohort with Terrica Lynn Smith.

Today, Raquel operates a real estate consulting company with her business partner and son, Martin Samuel Henderson, who serves as Vice President. Their company, Goshen's Light Enterprises LLC, specializes in passive real estate investing, buying and holding residential properties, fix and flips, land acquisitions and notary services. This endeavor is foundational to building capital for the development of Fay Springs Senior Living Community. The inception of GLE Construction was inspired by her son's enrollment and graduation from college for Construction Technology in Omaha, Nebraska.

A Lifelong Learner and Family-Centric Individual
Raquel's commitment to personal growth and education is unwavering. She is currently exploring her next education action steps for the future, which is a testament to her determination to take Goshen's Light Enterprises, GLE Construction and Fay Springs Senior Living Community to the next level.
